WHAT TO EXPECT:

JLR has an amazing opportunity to Propulsion Manufacturing Operations department and be part of an incredible journey as JLR develops its Electrified Powertrain capability. 

 

Propulsion Manufacturing Operations is responsible for the planning and execution of all new propulsion Launch programmes for JLR in the UK and follow up sites worldwide.

 

This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in the end-to-end transformation & launch of our propulsion facilities. The role will bring you the possibility to get in contact with an extensive number of areas across the business and provide you with an opportunity to develop and utilise your transferrable skills in both planning and deliver of our new products.
    
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic transformation of our Propulsion Manufacturing Operations
  • Deliver the manufacturing deliverables & KPI’s (Budget, MCPU, Opex,)
  • Implement all manufacturing launch activities and events to meet the requirements of the launch framework 
  • Co-ordinate and manage launch resources and budgets, including pre-production rate of climb
  • Plan and deliver, in conjunction with the applicable site operations team, appropriate workforce readiness

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Experience in manufacturing processes & product change management including new product introduction & facility management
  • Experience of working in a new product launch environment
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills, including ability to manage/lead/support key relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Previous experience with a proven track record of successful delivery of new product launches
  • Previous experience of strategy planning
