We’re reimagining design. It’s what we’ve always done because great design is our signature: it moves people, underpins our innovative approach and drives incredible experiences. With even bigger designs on the future, we give our Design Undergraduates everything they need (and more) to step up a gear and keep moving forward. It’s rewarding in more ways than one.

Our application process for all design opportunities differs from other areas of our business. We will update our website over the next few weeks with further information. If in the meantime you have any questions about Design opportunities, please email us at graduate@jaguarlandrover.com.

Pathways

STUDIO MODELLING

At the heart of our creative design function, our studio modelling team focuses on clay modelling (physical) and creative aesthetic surfacing (CAS) (digital). The two disciplines intertwine to deliver feasible model representations of our initial 2D design vision. Closely partnering with creative designers, the teams create physical scale and full-size models accompanied by digital twins.

As an Undergraduate on this pathway, you will be based within Creative Aesthetic Surfacing (CAS) (Digital). You will help us create a new generation of sustainable, modern and highly desirable products and experiences for discerning customers with rapidly evolving expectations. Together with intensive training in Alias software, you will enjoy extensive instruction from experienced engineers, giving you everything you need to become an expert CAS modeller and shape our future product range.

What you'll need

You will need to be on track to achieve at least a 2.2 degree in transport or automotive design or digital 3D design.

Equally importantly, you will require a real passion for problem solving and the curiosity to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions, backed by strong numerical and interpersonal skills and the confidence to champion new initiatives.

what you'll need
