We call our Human Resources (HR) function the People Chapter – because people are central to the JLR story. This chapter is at the heart of what we do, right from attraction and recruitment through to building lasting careers. As part of our Reimagine strategy, we’re driving an ambitious people transformation agenda – and we want you to be part of it. The next generation of sustainable luxury cars will be powered by a new era of talent. And that’s where you come in: as proud creators of modern luxury, our people are our greatest asset, and throughout your placement, you’ll deliver true value to our people experiences and the business through three key rotations.
Along the way, you’ll better understand our people, products and services, and gain hands-on project experience. You could find yourself involved in supporting business transformation or developing new employee experiences across the organisation. We will give you real insight into our people strategy, while broadening your core HR competencies and developing your business acumen, data literacy, digital dexterity and advocacy skills. You will also enjoy the opportunity to explore deeper, more specialist functional competencies and we will hold regular conversations where you can tell us what you’re keen to learn and where you want to take your career.
Whichever team you join, you’ll need to be comfortable working with ambiguity and be able to adapt to and support ongoing change as we pioneer things we’ve never done before. You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, thinking outside the box and challenging the norm, designing innovative solutions through adopting Agile methodology and digital solutions. And what’s most important is that we’re creating an environment for you to lead the way in delivering a better employee experience for the future.
REGISTER YOUR INTEREST APPLICATION PROCESSwhat you'll need

In addition, you will have real passion for problem-solving and the curiosity to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions. You will also have strong numerical and interpersonal skills and the confidence to champion new initiatives.
Please note that our undergraduate placement opportunities are open only to penultimate-year students (those who will be returning to their final year of study or on an integrated Masters after their placement with us). All our undergraduate programmes have a fixed start date, commencing 7th July 2025.
