WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play an important part within Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) as we start our journey into electrification. This role will lead Quality Engineering and technical support to the manufacturing teams. You will work collaboratively with a number of different functions.

You will develop as the Plant Quality capabilities grows and matures.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Primary interface for the Quality Engineering team in the resolution of issues derived from warranty analysis

• Develop a quality management process for warranty and customer concerns 

• Identify and address internal procedures that affect level 4 scorecard targets

• Be the driver of accurate problem solving within the plant, drive the teams to follow the standard problem-solving techniques and be able to challenge the teams openly to drive continuous improvement

• Drive your team to correctly identify the root cause of an issue and then install a robust countermeasure

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Manufacturing/Engineering processes, tools and techniques

• Create and lead detailed and effective action plans

• Lead a team to solve complex problems and install effective countermeasures.

• Communicate effectively, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and control plans
