WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Join our team of next generation thinkers. Working as part of the Manufacturing Excellence Data & Analytics team, you will provide technical leadership for the development of analytic products within the Manufacturing function to ensure they meet the customers’ requirements. Your role will comprise of line management responsibilities for the analytic development team but also requires coaching & mentoring support and definition of best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the development cycle. You will be a part of a unique opportunity to help define, support and grow the manufacturing analytic capability within JLR.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical input into the Discovery phase to support the Product Owners' user story definition

  • Be a technical expert in business intelligence tools and possess a high level of ability to identify, analyse and interpret trends/patterns in complex datasets

  • Define analytic product development best practices & standards to ensure product delivery is optimised

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear and robust sprint planning for the development teams, understand and coordinate dependencies to ensure alignment

  • Utilise a continuous improvement approach to product development to ensure that lessons learnt are captured and embedded into future products

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Advanced technical expertise in a business intelligence tool, preferably Tableau

  • Advanced ability to structure, analyse & interpret data and working knowledge in SQL

  • Ability to utilise user interface/user experience (UI/UX) principles within product development

  • Proven experience in utilising a storytelling approach of visualising data to deliver impactful analytic products & insight

  • Proven experience in people management, stakeholder management at all levels and coaching & mentoring
