WHAT TO EXPECT

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate individual to join our team as a BEV Test Team Leader. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining product quality and adherence to agreed standards. You'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Environment (SQDCPE) metrics, as well as overseeing critical processes such as ES6007 Testing, Teardown, and Investigations.

Reporting directly to the Plant Quality Engineering Propulsion Test Engineer, you'll lead a dedicated team to ensure that Propulsion Testing, Production Validation, Investigations, and Facility Maintenance are executed with precision and integrity. Your role will be pivotal in both current manufacturing operations and upcoming product launch programs. You'll also drive team development through objective setting, coaching, and continuous learning.

As the BEV Test Team Leader, you'll be involved in a wide range of challenging tasks, including product teardown, testing, and engineering support for component changes. Working closely with the Warranty team, you will focus on improving quality across production facilities. Problem-solving will be a key aspect of your role, requiring you to apply critical thinking to a variety of issues.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to resolve and improve operational challenges
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for quality and safety standards

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Essential:

  • Experience and technical understanding of EDU/Battery Comodities and Engines with testing and an appreciation of the base engine components; function; calibration; diagnostics & emissions.
  • Working knowledge of AVL Puma (including development of VB Scripts), ETAS INCA toolset, Fuel Measurement devices are a requirement.
  • The capability to lead and coordinate cross-functional concern resolution and improvement activities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • IATF16949 / ISO / UTAC Knowledge and experience.
