As a key member of the team, you’ll be part of a state-of-the-art facility, dedicated to producing cutting-edge electric propulsion systems that will power the future of JLR’s vehicles. The EPMC is at the forefront of automotive innovation, and we’re looking for a Maintenance Process Leader to ensure our operations remain ahead of the curve.

In this role, you’ll oversee the introduction and maintenance of our production line equipment, ensuring uptime targets are met while driving the plant's overall efficiency. You will lead and manage a team focused on achieving a zero-breakdown goal, working closely with manufacturing, quality engineering, and machine tool vendors to enhance the uptime and efficiency of our equipment. By analysing performance and implementing preventative measures, you’ll ensure the EPMC runs smoothly, delivering the premium product our customers expect.

You will also play a strategic role in driving continuous improvement, leading Kaizen and CI activities, and developing a robust maintenance strategy in line with JLR’s vision. With your leadership, you will ensure that the EPMC is a leader in global TPM initiatives, while also creating a strong, independent maintenance team through targeted training and development.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Strong supervisory or project management skills are preferred.
• Familiarity with leadership behaviours, with the ability to demonstrate these strengths.
• Proven experience and knowledge in engine component machining, assembly, and testing.
• Skilled in using preventive maintenance system data, such as SAP PM or similar platforms.
• Expertise in asset management tools and techniques, with the capability to train team members across all levels.
• Qualified, or actively working towards, an NVQ Level 3 (or higher e.g. HNC/HND) in a relevant field.
