At JLR, we are at the forefront of product innovation, committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Our Product Engineering Operations team plays a pivotal role in the product creation process, collaborating with operational business and IT stakeholders to develop and maintain cutting-edge tools and automated support systems.

 

In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies to develop and maintain multiple tools and automated support systems, including data pipelines (ETL). You will also promote architectural policies and standards across Prototype Build Planning & Preparation (PBPP).

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and associated functionalities.
  • Maintain and enhance multiple tools, automated support systems, and data pipelines (ETL) using VBA and JavaScript.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new process tools.
  • Interact with core business systems (GPIRS, WERS, EDW) and drive the development of new tools to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with architectural policies and standards.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Essential:

  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Specialist.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and storage techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, VBA, a modern scripting language, and SQL, with the ability to decode existing predeveloped tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • MS Platform (PowerAutomate, PowerApps)
