WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Be a part of the team testing the next generation of EMachines for Jaguar, Range Rover and Land Rover products. We are at the forefront of development in full electric powertrains, aiming to deliver electrifying performance and peerless refinement. This role will be focused on the research and development of the EMachines within the next generation of BEVs, providing vital analysis to internal customer teams and working collaboratively to provide quality data. We are looking for individuals who are excited about our electrified transformation and can bring their passion and experience to our growing team.

You will be working as Test Engineer within Powertrain Test Operations (PTTO) where we utilise state-of-the-art test facilities to develop, verify and sign-off component, sub-system, and system level targets.  

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Interpret Design verification methods for prototype units and translate into rig-based tests

  • Develop automation to deliver automated, unmanned testing to accelerate development

  • use of automation to improve the repeatability and quality of data

  • Ensure facility utilisation targets and testing gateways are achieved

  • Provide management with accurate data to support decision making processes

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Some experience in hardware testing

  • Some experience of automation systems such as PUMA, CADET, Morphee, LabView, AutomationDesk etc.

  • Some experience in problem solving and data analysis using data analysis tools such as MDA or AVL Concerto.

  • Competent in MS office

  • Valid UK Driving license
