WHAT TO EXPECT

 

JLR’s innovative EMC Team are looking for an EMC Component Engineer. This role will contribute to the management of Component EMC sign off for electronic components including running changes. This role is to support EMC Delivery Team Manager ensure all Electronics modules from any squad meet the corporate Component EMC requirements.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Timely completion of Component EMC testing in line with vehicle program gateways.
  • Resolution of technical issues.
  • Component EMC test plan approval & component EMC test results approval.
  • Ensuring any agreed deviations have no effect to Vehicle level EMC performances (Supporting Vehicle EMC team).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Relevant previous experience in a similar electromagnetic compatibility engineering role.
  • Understanding of EMC theory and design principles, and experience of practical implementation.
  • Component EMC test experience.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Previous experience in working within an engineering based industry such as automotive, aerospace, or rail.
