WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the recently announced reimagine we are looking for a test engineer to help with power electronics testing and measurement. Key is understanding the components under test as well as the limitations of the test system and process.
You will measure semiconductor and HV component loses and compare to modelled and supplier data. You will ensure accurate and repeatable measurement of behaviour, parameters, loss of efficiency at die, module and component level.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilites
For Next Generation Electrified Products across voltage, current, environmental and lifetime conditions

Measure Power semiconductor Losses and compare to modelled data

Measure Inverter Losses and compare to modelled data

Measure E-motor Losses and compare to modelled data

Measure Charger Losses and compare to modelled data

Test Key or limiting Vehicle Use Cases

Produce Test Reports

Characterise instrumentation equipment

Identify opportunities for improvements
