WHAT TO EXPECT


This role will be the Senior Reliability lead within the BIW Reliability Department. You will be responsible for ensuring the facility performs in line with installed design Technical Availability, developing and implementing RCM, focusing on data driven decisions to deliver a level of continuous improvement to support Maintenance Operations.  In this role you will be required to liaise with key stakeholders from within the JLR and OEM community to drive current and future state Reliability Operations.
 
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


•    Departmental subject matter expert in Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) who needs to be in touch with the latest Body Construction facility developments, concepts and equipment design.
•    Ensure that MTTR and MTBF data is available and analysed to deliver Technical Availability improvements in line with transformational KPI’s.
•    Develop condition-based monitoring strategies for Body Construction manufacturing systems.
•    Ensure preventative maintenance strategies are reviewed, analysed and backed up with R&M data.
•    Define and develop an R&M process working to guidelines set out in SAE M-110.2 and JLR company R&M procedures
•    Ensure that all assets are managed though an asset lifecycle process
 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED


•    Knowledge of Maintenance Operations
•    Expert knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability principles
•    Demonstrable experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Knowledge of Asset Management Processes
•    Knowledge of health and safety processes
