WHAT TO EXPECT

 
The maintenance team operate in a quality and delivery orientated role maintaining and managing many types of assets and commodities including incoming electricity, compressed air, gas, HVAC equipment and BMS infrastructure / controls. For that reason, many of the projects delivered are highly capital intensive and require careful cost management and project delivery team management.

 

As Maintenance planning and strategy engineer you will be responsible for delivering the maintenance strategy within the department and upscaling the preventive maintenance protocol.

 

Your responsibilities will include implementing the new maintenance system, planning workstreams and analysing our critical data for KPI review. This will incorporate the data for our core plant and teams across all shifts.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


•    Manage and deliver mechanical maintenance strategy & maintenance programmes on time and on budget.
•    Review and overhaul of all current PM schedules
•    Ensure ME specific facility needs are captured and delivered by project teams
•    Interface with other compliance subject matter experts – Principal Engineers, Environmental, H&S, Risk, Gas etc
•    Supporting compliance activities – statutory conformance – EAW, LOLER, PUWER & PSSR

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED


•    Knowledge of building and infrastructures including mains services
•    Knowledge of Building Management Systems
•    Knowledge of various HPHW systems, Automated industrial doors, industrial cranes, ventilation, compressed air Systems
•    Good knowledge & understanding of maintenance practices/processes
•    Experience of contract management preferred
