WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Maintenance team operates in a safe, quality and delivery orientated role, they work maintaining and improving many types of technology including robotics, automation systems, glazing systems, fluid fill systems and auto secure.  All these systems are controlled by PLC’s and as such, knowledge of any of the above will be an advantage.

 

As a Maintenance Leader in our trim & final build hall, you'll lead the maintenance team delivering a high-quality service to production. Your responsibilities will include managing shift manpower to achieve uptime and quality requirements, carrying out root cause investigations and counter measures to closure.  You’ll plan, schedule and carry out running checks and repairs as well as drive the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programme.  Implementation of company and departmental processes and procedures including safety, 5S methodology, time and attendance, and disciplinary at shift level will be a part of your daily duties.

 

Moreover, you'll have the ability to plan as well as co-ordinate shutdown and project work with your team and
higher management by delivering cost, quality and timing targets. You'll also liaise with Quality, Project, Purchasing, and Safety teams to reach full technical and commercial alignment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


•    Knowledge of ABB robots, Ethernet IP/IO, PLC’s and safety PLC’s
•    Demonstrable experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving
•    Previous experience in similar role including having knowledge of mechanical/electrical control systems
•    Knowledge of company procedures regarding Safety, COSHH and ergonomics
•    Previous skills of growing and leading a team
