WHAT TO EXPECT
You would be joining an Integral and passionate team responsible for helping Solihull Manufacturing Operations maintain its IATF:16949 certification through Internal auditing and benchmarking, helping to drive continuous improvement and robust problem solving to help develop and maintain our QMS system.
As a Lead QMS Auditor you will be a pivotal part of this journey, by driving accountability through Internal Auditing. You will be assessing our conformance against our Internal processes, procedures & requirements of IATF:16949.
This will be achieved through customer and stakeholder engagement using your knowledge of JLR’s Internal Processes and Procedures to coach and drive the expected standard across all areas within Manufacturing.
You will develop your network through customer engagement & 121 support across ALL levels & grades within manufacturing, with an expectation to proactively feedback any shortfalls in conformance and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Conduct internal auditing and reporting ensuring compliance to IATF:16949 and JLR’s internal Quality Management Systems
- Lead projects to assist wider business function to drive robust problem-solving within workgroups
- Provide one to one coaching, guidance and assistance to the team
- Oversee Data management
- Continuous improvement of JLR internal processes and Procedures
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and tools.
- Knowledge of Internal Manufacturing Processes and Procedures.
- Understanding or experience of IATF:16949.
- Knowledge of structured problem-solving and techniques Inc (8D, CCAR, Level Zero, PSP)
- Experience of Internal and or External Auditing. (Company Quality / UTAC)
