WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Finished Vehicle Distribution department is responsible for the movement of new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to dealers and customers in over 100 Markets worldwide. We organise, manage and monitor the movement of every vehicle produced. This helps to ensure that delivery takes place in a timely and efficient manner, whilst maintaining the highest build quality levels possible.

 

Manging our operations and supplier base, as well as developing our current and future distribution strategy, are key to delivering a Customer First service to our markets, retailers and customers worldwide. Your contribution will help manage our existing operations, whilst transforming and developing solutions for the future.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

 

•    Management and development of Lead Logistic suppliers ensuring performance in line with contracted Service Levels and supporting the development and achievement of improvement plans. 
•    Interface with Manufacturing, Quality, Launch, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Purchase, Lead Logistics Providers (national & international) and Customs.
•    Provide total Logistics advise / support and reporting to Supply Chain Management 
•    Management and development of European Distribution team. 
•    Planning and coordination of Finished Vehicle Launch Stocks supporting New Model Launch Activities. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

•    Experience of managing or supervising teams
•    Good understanding of supply chain management either national or international
•    Excellent knowledge of customs processes and documentation 
•    Experience in manging Transport Service Providers in a fast-paced working environment. 
•    Strong data analytics capability and high attention to detail. Experience working with data visualisation tools like Tableau & PowerBI are advantageous.
