Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owners and key stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met.
• Promote the latest SRE practices, standards and processes and work with the Engineering Leads to deliver the strategic SRE vision.
• Define and represent the SRE practice at knowledge and engagement events and take a leading role in developing the SRE community and good practice.
• Develop and support our SRE capability by creating viable and rewarding career paths and recruiting talent to the organisation.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Site Reliability Engineering practices and principles

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Extensive AWS experience (deploying production workloads), understanding of multi-account architectures as well as working knowledge of Infrastructure such as Code tooling.
• Extensive experience working with Linux, writing scripts or coding in Python with programming fundamentals.
• Ability to effectively explain complex ideas, confidently presenting these to senior stakeholders, with experience managing a medium to large team of engineers.
• Experience with AWS security services (Security Hub/Config/GuardDuty/Inspector/WAF etc) and encryption & hashing methods (TLS certificate management, mTLS, hash types).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes including cluster management and security and CI/CD tools and techniques, as well as understanding of Cyber Security principles.
