WHAT TO EXPECT

 

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our ADAS team where you will be responsible for developing various software modules and new technologies. You will be working closely with ECU’s. You will ideally have experience in designing software architecture previously, ideally within ADAS and will be comfortable using C and C++. You will be a part o the next development of ADAS in JLR which Is a very exciting part of the business at the moment.

 

 Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Design of the software and functions related to AAD Design and Architecture in a closed loop from the vehicle to the data lake.

  • Deliver high level software architecture design according to computational resources/budget, memory, network resource utilization and constraints on the target hardware and software platforms.

  • Define multi-core architecture and memory partitioning, network architecture decisions and signal lists. Specify hardware interface requirements and define the system design.

  • Implementation of technology, design, demonstrators, models and validation strategies.

 

 WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Significant relevant working experience in designing software architecture and associated technologies.

  • Relevant experience of system definition, software architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance

  • Significant knowledge of software safety, failure, vulnerability analysis and risk assessment

  • Very good knowledge in multiple software language skills (e.g. C, C++, Python, Java)
