WHAT TO EXPECT
We are looking to appoint a talented Engineer to lead all aspects of Propulsion engineering Forward Model Quality. Your role will be focussing on quality for future products across all of the propulsion commodity teams ensuring that quality monitoring systems are used to identify work prioritisation. It’s a role focused on engagement to support teams to deliver to Powertrain Quality targets.
As part of your role, you will be creating and scoping improvement projects based on customer feedback from TGW (things gone wrong) and J.D. Power surveys, you will be required to work cross functionally with engineering attribute teams to track and support the delivery of these quality improvement projects.
You will also govern the prevent reoccurrence process in powertrain engineering ensuring the learning from quality issues are captured in the company body of knowledge and a robust failure mode avoidance is in place.
Analysis and reporting of quality data and mentoring on problem solving and failure mode avoidance is an integral part of this role.

Essential:
- Experience of cross functional working across different functions
- Excellent presentation and communication / influencing skills.
- Experience in Failure mode avoidance toolset (example FMA)
- Experience problem solving techniques (example DMAIC, 8D)
