Join JLR as a Portfolio Manager in Program Management and play a pivotal role in our digital transformation. As a Portfolio Manager, you’ll lead new and established project teams, ensuring successful delivery across our portfolio. From coordinating projects to managing interdependencies, you’ll keep business priorities on track and provide the structure needed to implement large-scale changes across JLR.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of the IT project portfolio, ensuring effective management of finances, priorities, interdependencies, and resources
- Act as the main contact for Programme Management to ensure successful portfolio delivery, including planning, design, and governance
- Monitor portfolio health, address risks and issues, and implement a governance framework for effective coordination of projects and interdependencies
- Manage the portfolio budget, track costs against benefits, and oversee transition points with Demand & Product Managers, Service Operations Managers, and stakeholders
- Oversee the portfolio team’s performance, resource allocation, and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder communication throughout
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Extensive experience in project management approaches
- Previous experience with techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs, including risk management
- Credibility within the program environment and ability to influence others
- Major Portfolio, programme & project delivery experience
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
- Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and proven ability to put in place the required interventions through support or from one's knowledge base
