WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Group Scrum Master to help support the delivery of the MLA BEV Group. As a Group Scrum Master, you will be accountable for the delivery of MLA BEV group workstreams to agreed time, cost and quality targets. You will lead in creating, maintaining and driving credible plans and establish pre-emptive and effective risk management to avoid issues. You could be dealing with a large cross-functional team across multiple locations.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Scrum Master is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). The GSM major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. GSM's primary responsibilities are:
- To communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement, and guide the team on introspection to continually improve agile ways of working.
- Representing impediments to Programme/Vehicle Teams via Obstacle process (JIRA tickets) - support with escalation in Obstacle Reviews and support the group in obstacle resolution.
- Assist in driving continuous improvement, transparency and consistency amongst the teams ensuring clear and concise Product Backlog items which are linked to stories/features/capabilities.
- To monitor and support the squads and Group achieve MBIs each QBR period.
- Facilitate Retrospective (improve team efficiency), Daily Stand-ups and Sprint Planning/ Backlog refinement. Ensure Group remains focused on meeting objectives and support Squads and Group Product Owners to run the BRP and Marketplace sessions effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience in an Agile Project management role with working knowledge of relevant JLR processes and a demonstrable history of high performance based on end of year assessments and knowledge of Agile mentality and Scrum framework.
- Experience leading delivery and integration across PCDS programme lifecycle, employing pre-emptive risk and issue management.
- Experienced at building effective cross functional relationships with strong stakeholder management skills at all levels with evidence of leadership skills and ability to drive positive business outcomes.
- Extensive knowledge of change management processes including the process being used in MLA BEV.
