The GME Central Team has accountability for delivering QMS for Global Manufacturing Engineering. The team consists of two teams, a GME QMS Central Internal Audit Team, and a GME Central QMS Process Team - both of which support and enable the function in achieving their objectives. The QMS Process Team provides one place for the customer to come, ensures the function is focused on the correct business priorities and able to deliver on time, to cost and to the right quality. The GME Central Team sits across all Technologies within GME, always looking to implement a standardised approach, to break down silos and embed learning.
GME Central QMS Process Team works closely with the business to design and build improvement projects across the wider GME. The improvements range from addressing mandatory and business continuity capabilities, to introducing game changing ways of working enabled by technology, people, and processes. The GME Central team works within a governance structure designed to ensure we obtain the best possible return on all our investments. As the custodian of the QMS for the function, the team is a key enabler for GME focused on end-to-end processes, ensuring we are compliant to all legislative and regulatory requirements.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Support and deliver creation of GME Quality Management System (QMS.)
• To be customer focused, and to facilitate/lead workshops to agree and capture process requirements with the customer and to provide subject matter expertise on the end to end, cross functional GME Technology processes.
• Work with Global Process Owners, key stakeholders, internal and external customers to identify, scope and prioritise process improvement opportunities to develop an agreed work plan (where applicable in conjunction with the wider GME team)
• To support workshops and surgeries to provide users with process knowledge and training where applicable.
• To support and embed roles and responsibilities for global process ownership.
• To collaborate with key stakeholders, including business partners, end to end process leads, business process owners, internal and external customers to implement agreed process improvement opportunities.
• Provision of SME support to business areas to facilitate process analysis and closure of actions associated with audit findings (internal & external). This may include root cause analysis of failures identified, documentation of required changes as well as supporting implementation of actions. (Problem Solving activities)
