The Opportunity

The Process & Toolsets Lead holds responsibility for defining, monitoring and managing all Accessories process, to provide the programme teams with the entitlement to achieve gateways on time. The individual will work alongside the Governance, Data and Programme Management teams, to drive continuous improvement into all aspects of project delivery, reviewing effectiveness, identifying efficiencies and ensuring change management of new procedures.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

 

  • On time achievement of Accessories gateways
  • Be the process subject matter expert and provide guidance to the programme teams for successful gateway achievement
  • Identify, define and deliver continuous improvement activities across the department
  • Implement new process to improve efficiencies, manage change and handover to the Governance Coordinator to continue as business as usual
  • Own and drive the lessons learned assigned to PMO, ensuring they are effectively closed out within corporate target
  • Aid the engineering team in improving throughput of engineering releases

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Own all process creation and management for Accessories, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and audit criteria
  • Continually review process adherence and effectiveness, identifying any efficiencies
  • Continually review toolsets and ensure they are fit for purpose, liaising with central PMO, to understand future changes
  • Run workshops with stakeholders in order to review proposed improvements
  • Manage the adoption of future toolsets, such as but not limited to, 3DX and PlanView
  • Support the Accessories Strategy Project in mapping and creating process, helping to define the future of Accessories delivery
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Jira
  • Experience of new process and toolset rollout
  • Understanding of Engineering release systems (such as iCREATE, WERS, 3DX)
  • Understanding of resource planning and toolsets (such as PlanView)
  • Experience in end-to-end delivery of projects, either Project Management or PMO
  • Experience of continuous improvement, writing process and aligning stakeholders
  • You view things as a team rather than individual project level, considering the wider team needs.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills, including ability to lead relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to manage change across a number of stakeholders
