It is not every day you come across an enviable portfolio of accessories, that is one of the bases for vehicle personalisation and also enhances limited editions and a versatile range of desirable lifestyle and Hard Top vehicles. Unless, of course, you join us in Accessories, part of JLR's Vehicle Programmes (VP).


You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated whose primary objective is to develop the strategy for the business unit cycle plan and package as clearly defined proposals for delivery by programme management, whilst measuring current performance and identifying growth opportunities

 

This exciting new role will be part of a growing and fast paced team. The successful candidate will be able to develop new processes and bring structure, insights and recommendations. The role requires the candidate to be curious, data-driven, have methodological approach to tasks and strong stakeholder management skills.


You’ll have an opportunity to help define Accessories business unit future products and business direction as well as a level of responsibility, autonomy and exposure to senior leadership. You’ll get an insight into the VP business, how it operates, support decisions and interact with the core JLR business as well as an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the VP business.

 

The Governance & Strategy Business Coordinator is responsible for:
•    Supporting and driving departmental governance for key meetings including Level 3 and level 2 updates
•    Act as the scrum master for programmes that are in a pre-Concept Selected (CS) gateway stage and Off-cycle strategic activities
•    Be the champion for the Accessories Employee survey (eNPS) and Pulse activities, and analyse responses to identify and coordinate the execution of improvement opportunities
•    Leading the process to review and define the Off-Cycle Accessories Focus Areas
•    Event Coordination Mastery: Organise and coordinate both onsite and offsite events, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
•    Collating and interrogating data to support business decisions 
 

 

WHAT YOU WILL  NEED


As a Governance & Strategy Business Coordinator you’ll ideally:
•    Have experience of leading projects as well as being an excellent network and relationship builder  
•    Have the ability to question/challenge where appropriate the established wisdom bringing a ‘fresh eyes’ approach.
•    Be curious, and have the ability to translate business needs into research briefs to gather the information to justify decisions/actions 
•    Have the ability to confidently advise and influence stakeholders
•    Have a methodical, detailed approach to tasks and experience using the Agile methodology/way of working
•    Be self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
•    Have the ability to simplify and communicate complex proposals and research outcomes
