WHAT TO EXPECT

 

This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of change as we work together with our Retailer Partners to change the automotive industry together. You will be in a pivotal role that will significantly influence the UK NSC (National Sales Company) Network strategy. 


Working with our key retailer partners and investors you will not only shape the ongoing Retailer business case but be responsible the Jaguar & Land Rover Retailer Composite profitability & performance reports for distribution to the UK NSC Directors. 


Working directly with the JLR Franchise Managers and also our Retailer Investors at Franchise Director level and above you will develop effective business plans and track ongoing against performance. 


You will work closely with the Network Director providing support for the financial assessment of all franchise applications and investment proposals as well as assisting with the management and monitoring of risk within the retailer network. You will also provide support for the Network Development Department and to the Regional Business and Aftersales Managers in the development and production of ad hoc analysis & reporting.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, control and manage monthly composite submission and associated business performance forecast for the UK National Sales Company 
  • Manage the Retailer Financial Composite process by ensure all new and emerging risks are identified
  • Deliver Composite Reports, ensuring reports are designed for functional management with clear action plans, identified owners and dates for delivery
  • Support the development of the annual business plan process   
  • Manage senior stakeholders expectations and keep abreast of all emerging issues and keep stakeholder informed of changes 
  • Develop and ongoing evaluation of the Investor business case 
     

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Sound knowledge of Retailer Operations is essential
  • Previous experience and knowledge to identify financial risk quickly and to provide innovative solutions to the issues identified
  • Ability to evaluate the operating effectiveness of business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommend solutions 
  • Logical thinker with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving, with the ability to self-manage – understanding business/commercial implications of findings 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
