WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Come and join JLR’s HR Data and Digital team in their new Data Ethics and Privacy consultant position. In this role, you will focus on GDPR compliance, data quality and governance for People and Organisation data sets and processes across JLR globally.

 

You will be joining a rapidly growing team and will assist in upskilling the function in data ethics and privacy and will involve content creation of engagement materials, as JLR continues with their journey in data transformation.

 

You will drive the resolution of any identified GDPR and data governance issues, working with the HR Data champions and the central JLR Data Protection and security teams. As well as deliver updates to stakeholders on GDPR and data protection changes.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Support as the HR champion for GDPR, coordinating local GDPR champions across the function
  • Work collaboratively with the central GDPR team driving data compliance across HR
  • Co-ordinate local HR GDPR Champions to ensure Privacy by Design and Default is applied across all processes and services
  • Support on the GDPR risk management process ensuring all risks have been identified and mitigation plans are in place and delivered to manage risks
  • Produce and deliver content to upskill the People Function in data ethics and privacy

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role with a proven track record of delivery in Data, and compliance
  • Understanding of data privacy and GDPR regulations and able to apply this to data design and sharing
  • Experience working with people data, technology and systems, e.g. SAP / SF
  • Understanding and experience of HR data sets and information source
