WHAT TO EXPECT:


The Jaguar Land Rover Creative Organisation is evolving to a new way of working, which will enable the execution of our Reimagine strategy.  The evolved organisation includes housing various creative hubs (Vehicle, Brand, Digital and Materiality Design), which are pivotal in our inflection towards a Modern Luxury future and reflects the growing importance to the entire enterprise. 

 

As Brand Design Manager, you will provide a holistic 360-degree view of the latest Modern Luxury experiences, including the creation and direction of engaging design concepts and ideas to deploy across teams for internal and external customers - taking responsibility for creative output and client/stakeholder satisfaction.
    
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

●    Ensure the look, tone, feel and essence for the current and future brand, driving maximum synergy in process but ensure differentiation between brands.
●    Act as the Design and Modern Luxury expert for the brand, ensuring the aesthetic integrity of each Brand World is maintained across all touchpoints - partners, agencies, environments, experiences and products.
●    Responsible for leading a cutting-edge team, to develop the longer-term strategy and vision for the House of Brands from a design and Modern Luxury perspective.
●    Responsible for identifying & qualifying data & insights requirements relating to Modern Luxury e.g. external research (assessing what, why, implications).
●    Responsible for commissioning ad hoc research projects to third parties and for identifying and reporting insights (the “so what”) including primary & syndicated reports.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED:


•    Ability to define and effectively communicate Modern Luxury for the brand.
•    Expertise in strategic frameworks and tools of research and insights.
•    Specialist ability to translate a strategy into a plan with clear outcomes and objectives.
•    Strong understanding of competitive environment and Modern Luxury trends and the drive to act on insights quickly.
•    Commercially minded to drive brand performance, always representing the best interests of the brand.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
