As the Programmes and Solution Design Specialist, you will act as the single point of contact between Global Manufacturing Engineering Logistics and programme teams during early development phases for the EPMC assembly plant.


WHAT TO EXPECT


You will work closely with the GME Logistics Strategy team acting as the logistics technical solutions expert and coordinate propulsion programme impact assessments, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and adjacent departments. You will also be responsible for the development and execution of logistics solutions and automation strategies.


Here’s what to expect: 


•    Act as the day-to-day contact in GME Logistics for all programme activity at EPMC
•    Capture all part complexity, type, sequencing assumptions, and m3 data from Supply Chain and programme teams
•    Prepare all plant logistics strategic impact assessments and gateway submissions
•    Manage the programme’s budget by monitoring and reporting costs against baseline
•    Develop and execute logistics solutions and automation strategies for the EPMC production plant
•    Act as the key interface between GME Logistics and the Industrial Operations Programme Delivery (IOPD) team
•    Optimise warehousing and logistics solutions to meet programme requirements

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 


Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including: 


•    Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes 

•    Experience in Supply Chain solution design
•    Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
•    Strong analytical skills and statistical ability
•    Experience working within a major project or programme environment
•    Project management of multiple concurrent projects
•    Project delivery experience
