WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) Process Leader is a front-line leader within the production operations team, manage Team Leaders and Associates within the manufacturing area under their direct control.

 

The Process Leader will be overseeing the fostering teamwork, driving continuous improvement and will be a role model for our creators’ code values. Alongside leading their own teams, they will work with other departments and will oversee the improving of the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment (SQDCPE) metrics within their area. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieving and driving the improvement of SQDCPE metrics within the manufacturing area under their direct control
  • Reporting on shift performance and SQDCPE metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Lead and coach Team Leaders to ensure that they and the facility are production ready to meet Launch Milestones
  • Ensure that their area operates to the Integrated Production System (IPS) principles and standards, using the latest Quality Operating System (QOS) techniques
  • Ensuring the Safety Operating Systems (SOS)are met during all stages of Launch, Rate of climb and steady state production
  • Support employee attendance initiatives and manage absence control activities such as counselling, capability and disciplinary procedures
     

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Safety processes and safe systems of work
  • Interrogate and interpret data
  • A flexible approach to facilitate frequent change and to ensure efficient running of the operation
  • Good understanding of process flow
  • Leading and coordinating large groups of people in high volume or high complex processes
  • Production tools and metrics
