WHAT TO EXPECT
Come and join JLR’s Power Train Production Operations, who responsible for the manufacture of the JLR Propulsion systems to support the current and next generation of JLR vehicles. Delivering a premium product, the EMC operations team have established, developed and continue to grow the facility to ensure a first-class service to our customer base.
As a DI Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for the timing in engineering changes across both current engine (running change) and new model year introduction points, and inventory accuracy.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timing issues (for example obsolescence) are covered before concern release
- Timing changes within SAP against Engineering Change Notices
- Communicating part number changes and associated timings to the rest of the business
- Co-ordinate all Perpetual Inventory (PI) counting for the plant
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Understanding of Engineering Change Control and Perpetual Inventory and have strong computer literacy and proficiency in all relevant business systems including SAP
- Manage priorities, identify issues & solutions using own initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference and achieve results
- Demonstrate drive with a customer focussed approach and good organisational skills and have the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities whilst maintaining focus
- Strong communication skills, including ability to present to stakeholders
