As a Product Specialist, you would be responsible for all the technology elements required to fulfil key business capabilities in Finance at JLR. You will overlook the operations (systems, infrastructure, support and risks), lead the delivery of change via efficient deployment of technology and work with the business stakeholders to create a robust technology roadmap and strategy. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 


•    Ensure technology / systems have adequate support framework around them, including supporting license negotiations and renewals (e.g. SaaS solutions)
•    Gain a detailed understanding in Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and target architectures
•    Management and promotion of digital delivery strategy (eg. Agile, Devops)
•    Help the business to build and articulate the business case, evaluating suitable options and mature business requirements into product features
•    Align features to product backlogs in preparation to deliver through agile methodologies

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

 

•    Strong commercial acumen and a history of making innovative and profitable decisions with respect to technology.
•    Experience of defining and executing a long-term systems’ strategy within a significant digital environment
•    Experience of digital change management operating with various project methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall High level of IT technical competence.
•    Strong and clear communicator with stakeholders at different levels of seniority and knowledge.
•    Proven internal /external stakeholder management ability and able to build trust at a workplace
