Join JLR as a Partnerships Senior Account Manager – Motorsport!
JLR Motorsport, part of the CEO/Corporate Affairs and Motorsport function, is responsible for the strategy, planning, and delivery of successful motorsport initiatives. Within this dynamic environment, the Motorsport Partnerships & Sponsorships department focuses on identifying, sourcing, activating, and managing commercial partners.
As a Partnerships Senior Account Manager in the Jaguar TCS Racing team, you will report to the Partnership Activation Manager and take charge of managing existing partners. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and measuring marketing activation strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of JLR Motorsport and make a significant impact in the world of motorsport.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Responsibility for commercial partnership activation within the JLR Motorsport function, encompassing marketing, communications, PR, experiential, and hospitality activities
- Supported by the Partnership Activation Manager, the role involves end-to-end partner management, including activation programme and rights fees finance management, annual rights tracking and management, partner monitoring and evaluation, scheduling regular partner governance meetings and workshops, and managing the partner brand approvals process
- Development of partner marketing campaigns and associated PR/communications activities, including collaboration with the JLR Motorsport PR & Communications department on media programmes and partner content development
- Delivery of partner events and hospitality both at race and away from race environments, in coordination with the JLR Motorsport Events team
- Support for partner activation, including show cars, senior management/driver/team appearances, and asset requirements at race and out-of-race events
- Measurement and evaluation, including partner reporting, utilising agency strategy and consultancy team support, and contributing to partnership governance
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with partners, stakeholders, and internal teams. Proven track record of maintaining strong relationships through clear and concise communication
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and their engagement is maximised. Ability to navigate complex relationships and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and managing invoices. Proven ability to handle financial aspects of partnerships efficiently and within constraints
- Experience in developing and executing successful strategic partnership campaigns. Ability to plan, activate, and measure the impact of partnership initiatives
- Extensive and successful experience in the sports, motorsport, or sponsorship industry, ideally with both rights holder and partner perspectives. Deep understanding of industry trends and best practices
