WHAT TO EXPECT
Through the creation of JLR’s Digital Product Platform spanning the on and offboard sides of the vehicle, more client services and features will move to become cloud first and delivered through VCDP (Vehicle Connected Data Platform). This shift means we are developing amazing new features for our clients that we need to plan and integrate into our future vehicle programmes, ensuring that as a JLR team we come together to deliver the complete end to end proposition to time quality and cost associated with a vehicle programme.
As a Programme Integration Lead you will have the opportunity to lead the VCDP domain system activities and alignment with vehicle programme managers. The role will focus on vehicle-specific programmes and will be able to create future requirements and epics status for the VCDP domain.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Support VCDP domain system integration activities per vehicle programme
- Coverage of technical solution within the VCDP domain and target achievement of the overall project at the domain level
- Support E2E traceability & test plan (vehicle level specification vs. VCDP domain)
- Evaluation & definition of vehicle features within VCDP domain level relevant to reporting and control in coordination with the overall domain feature owner
- Introduce requirements & show dependencies within the VCDP domain level relevant to a vehicle programme
- Comprehensive & coordinated reporting of technical status features in committees within the VCDP domain and vehicle programme
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience in a Project/Program Manager related role
- Experience in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Be able to take ownership and problem-solving complex software products
- Experience in supporting teams to deliver against challenging deadlines
- Reporting and manage stakeholder management
