WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Workforce Operations Specialist you will be processing and supporting Workforce Operations UK monthly and weekly payrolls for 30,000 employees, working collaboratively with the team, guiding the administrators and working on projects.
Reporting to the Workforce Operations Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for compliance of UK legislation and JLR policies and assisting in driving change and efficiencies to support business strategies.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Supporting in processing hourly and salaried payrolls, managing workloads, agreeing holidays, absence and sick pay and performing manual adjustments to employee records
- Dealing with internal and external queries, particularly complex queries
- Assisting in producing documented procedures for all timekeeping activities and delivering accurate and compliant timekeeping processing for a variety of terms, conditions and shift patterns
- Leading mini payroll projects
- Supporting the Workforce Operations Supervisor with onboarding and training new starters
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Proven experience of working in a leadership role
- Substantial experience of working in a large multi-site payroll department
- Knowledge of time & attendance and payroll systems
- Excellent organisation, communication, customer service and stakeholder skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and to work as a team player
