WHAT TO EXPECT

 

In this mechanical biased role, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled, dynamic maintenance team based at our facility in Solihull.

 

You’ll deliver excellence by providing engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment. Our manufacturing technologies includes automated equipment comprising of robots, automated welding and joining equipment, laser joining systems, automated conveyors, complex tooling, and fixturing and lifting equipment. Whether you’re an electrical engineer or a multiskilled engineer, you will receive all the training and support you require to build on your current qualifications and experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Carry out mechanical Preventative Maintenance Checks on a range of machinery and mechanical equipment

  • Understanding of Mechanical Power Press operation

  • Basic welding & fabrication skills

  • Understanding of Non Destructive Testing processes & techniques

  • Ability to read & interpret Mechanical/Pneumatic & Hydraulic drawings

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role in maintenance operations in Manufacturing

  • Technical (mechanical and electrical) automotive engineering skills gained in Manufacturing

  • Knowledge of PLC / Electrical Control / Mechanical Systems

  • Relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship
