WHAT TO EXPECT

In the Jig & Tool role you will have to opportunity to join a highly skilled and dynamic team and contribute to maintaining a world class facility. You will provide first line maintenance support to the BIW manufacturing team ensuring repair work and routine maintenance that minimises downtime, always putting safety first.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Carry out and improve where possible planned maintenance by ensuring that the work schedules are completed on time
• Be able to read engineering drawings and manufacture parts using toolroom machinery (lathe, miller, drillers, grinders, welders etc)
• Ensure Health & Safety documentation and equipment (PPE) is adhered to

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Knowledge of Maintenance Operations
•  Knowledge of BIW Jigs & Fixtures
• Higher Apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance/machining
• Knowledge of toolroom machinery
