WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll join an exciting role here across West Midlands at our Solihull and Castle Bromwich sites. Providing technical and supervisory support to the maintenance teams you’ll support and train to maximise production efficiencies and maintain all associated plant equipment and be responsible for first line response to requests / issues with equipment / processes. 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

•    Provide day to day technical support on shifts to support maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient production and maintenance performance is delivered.
•    Comply to Health and Safety procedures by ensuring all safety metrics are achieved, including identifying safety hazards and risks and ensuring corrective action implemented.
•    Lead the team to carry out running checks and repairs, as well as the planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM)
•    First response to breakdowns and their control to deliver minimal down time using safe working practises, ensuring effective escalation at the appropriate agreed times.
•    Support and maintain the area staffing and ensure it is within operational constraints to achieve operational targets

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

•    Experience in a maintenance role to meet production targets in Manufacturing. 
•    An understanding of Schuler, NSM, Kone Cranes and SMT equipment from Operation through to Maintainability.
•    Good working knowledge of S7 PLC’s, WinCC, ABB / Kuka Robots, PILZ PSS300 / 4000 and drive systems Indradrive SEW and Sinamics would be advantageous.
•    Technical (mechanical and electrical) automotive
