WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Within this role you’ll be ensuring planned and unplanned maintenance is carried out on the existing test facilities and supporting equipment, to ensure test operations can run to schedule.

 

You’ll also support development of new facilities and processes, development, and management of projects for cost, quality, and timing. 

 

You'll be supporting the team by providing the required capability and capacity at JLR facilities and supporting the associated hardware and software. You’ll also be responsible for first line support and the key contact for several key OEM (original equipment manufacturer) suppliers that support the facility.

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring the Vehicle Emissions Test Facilities are suitably supported
  • Test data compiling and verification and support investigations into test failures
  • Ensure the asset register is maintained and developed
  • Assisting in the correlation program and test facility audits
  • Manage compressed gas cylinder in use and stock levels

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Previous experience in vehicle emissions testing / validation and software
  • Test Data handling and interpretation
  • First line support for test equipment fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Some experience in handling complex situations at a technical level
  • Experience and understanding of test facilities processes, equipment, and infrastructure
