WHAT TO EXPECT
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Plant MP&L team. Through our Linefeed Logistics we manage the flow of parts from vehicle/material scheduling to delivery to line.
Plant MP&L is a challenging, lively, fast-paced and dynamic environment to work in. Our key focuses are driving flexible solutions and approaches to changing business needs, driving our suppliers and LLP to find the resilience to ensure part supply to line, creating, managing and delivering complex site flow solutions and driving accuracy of data on our systems. Reporting and communication is huge part of MP&L from financial to build schedules to an individual part supply.
We are constantly looking to improve and adapt to drive efficiencies and improvements across our logistics solutions to support the needs and requirements of manufacturing and Solihull site goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Support activities in the development of vehicle programmes for MP&L, including business cases, feasibility studies, providing in-plant logistics costs, and solutions for future models / facilities.
- Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes to support the MP&L strategic business objectives.
- Maintain and report MP&L deliverables and milestones on-time and to target aligned to Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS), relevant JLR Quality Operating Systems (QOS), and support of Commodity Creation and Delivery System (CCDS).
- Utilise data analysis tools to manipulate large quantities of data to drive key decisions into logistics strategies and cost submissions.
- Support the BAU Material Flow teams where needed, including Contractor management (RAMS, CJRs, audits), Station Readiness Reviews, equipment procurement and Job 1 Launches.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven Logistics and / or Supply Chain experience
- Awareness of Agile methodology
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft (particularly Excel)
- Experience of Project Management
