POSITION: Product Owner Summer Intern (June 16th - August 2025)

Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry!  This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.

 

In this internship, you will support key projects related to customer experiences for next generation automotive platforms. You will also provide experience in product vision, application, development, and delivery processes. By the end of the internship, the candidate will have direct experience in the end-to-end process of product management, gaining exposure to cutting-edge automotive features, and solving industry challenges.

 

 Details of the program:

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate Program
  • The Internship runs from June 16th through August 2025
  • 40 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available
  • Paid internship -
    • $26/hour for students in an undergraduate program
    • $31/hour for students in a Master’s program
    • $37/hour for students pursuing PhD

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Assist the Product Owner through contributions to roadmaps, quarterly planning, and sprints
  • Attend, support, and deliver findings, insights, and improvements from user testing
  • Maintain and update latest industry and competitive analysis across different technologies
  • Research trends and advancements in automotive technologies (ADAS, AR, ML, Mobile, etc.)
  • Support projects related to product selection, technical evaluations, and benchmarking
  • Collaborate with interfacing teams such as procurement, electrical architecture, HW design, ADAS, on-board SW, functional safety, cybersecurity, Design, Research, and more
  • Act as a junior liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as required.

 What you will need:

  • The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in an engineering collegiate academic program for 2025/26 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
  • Experience with understanding and delivering customer facing products
  • Strong understanding of Engineering disciplines  
  • Experience in software development, engineering, or similar field
  • Natural problem solver and ability to derive solutions to technical issues.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Planner, etc.) and knowledgeable with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex topics and report on project status to team
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.

  • You must be resourceful, conscientious, and self-motivated.
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States at the time of application
