The Engineering pathway is focused on two critical pillars of software development within the auto industry. During the 2-year rotational graduate program, you’ll get the opportunity to undertake missions to broaden your experience and feed your curiosity and the chance to undertake a 12-month rotation in each of the following areas:
DevSecOps
You will support software delivery at scale by assisting in the creation of CI/CD cloud infrastructure and automation for building, testing, and delivering Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. You will gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable software delivery tools and processes. Additionally, you may have an opportunity to support DevOps, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure efforts for other EVA25 software development projects, such as Voice Interaction, Digital Manual, or Critical Driver Information. By the end of the rotation, you will have gained valuable experience in the end-to-end process of software development at scale, familiarized yourself with cutting-edge technologies, and tackled practical industry challenges, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this field.
Software Architecture
You will support the design, development and integration of software solutions for automotive software systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers to learn and apply industry best practices, in signal simulation, auto data schemas, VR/AR for state-of-the-art automotive cockpits, embedded software design, automotive networks, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Additionally, you may have an opportunity to support software efforts for proof-of-concepts, software demonstrations, and tooling. By the end of the internship, you will have gained valuable experience in the holistic design of complex automotive software and the practical approach of industry challenges, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this field. This role is designed to bridge your academic foundation with practical, hands-on experience in automotive software systems.

What you will need:
- Graduated college within the last 3 years with a degree associated with the program.
- Demonstrated interest in hardware or software systems.
- Demonstrated interest and proficiency in software development (through coursework, summer jobs, personal projects, etc.).
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with cloud computing on major platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or others.
- High level of professionalism.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter, strong work ethic, team player, ability to build rapport and communicate confidently.
- Demonstrated record of individual initiative and originality in projects or research.
- Possesses good analytical and written/verbal communications.
- Working knowledge of C/C++
- Good understanding of operating systems, embedded systems and software design principles
Nice to have:
- Familiarity (or willingness to learn) with Android devices and Linux system programming
- Prior internship or work experience
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail and a passion for automotive technology
