OPPORTUNITY
As a Supply Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for the development of the current car supply base in compliance of requirement and Supplier Standards document.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Work on operational tasks at quality and logistics to ensure timely and successful resolution of all supply chain delivery issues
- Apply lean tools and techniques as part of an integrated approach for supplier logistics assurance improvement activities
- Work on improvement projects applying lean methodology to deliver sustainable transformation within the suppliers logistics operations
- Ensure Supplier projects are appropriately planned, developed and maintained to support supply base requirements
- Provide support and project management for the supplier development by promoting performance improvement
- Monitor and track resolution to all logistics problems and issue to ensure improvements are achieved
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU´LL NEED
- Background in Supply Chain
- Experience in multiple logistics disciplines (Supply Chain Management, Launch, Operations Management, Vehicle Scheduling/Production Control, Logistics Engineering)
- Experiene in issue resolutions and application of lean methodology in Supply Chain
- Experience of process improvements in Logistics Flow
- Experience in the engineering process of supply chain and logistics development
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience of system improvement with logistics processes
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- English language B2 – written and spoken
