Senior Strategy Leader

Salary:  From 2600 eur monthly, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rules


OPPORTUNITY

 

 The purpose of the role is to create methodologies, implement and maintain production management tools, in order to plan, coordinate and manage the delivery of operational and transformation projects and initiatives within the used metrics in the BiW and in Paint technology in sense for integrated business plan for overall plant. This role is closely linked to manufacturing, to support them to delivery need outcomes. 
 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

•    Coordinate and manage projects for the improvement of metrics (SQDCPE) within production technologies so that the outputs meet the strategic objectives of the Body and Paint Shop operations.
•    Based on information and knowledge from production and engineering teams, bring new projects and improve both organizational and technical tools.
•    Point out methodological shortcomings, obstacles to planned activities to achieve performance. •    Ensure control of the application of management tools in the required frequency and quality.
•    Collect, manage and analyze data to interpret and clarify strategic technology support plans. On the basis of current performance, prepare change plans for the body shop and paint shop in order to fulfill the strategic operational plan of production (OpStrat). Be helpful and actively participate in recruitment planning and selection procedures themselves.
•    Monitoring the progress and progress of TIC projects and assessing the application of technologies in order to achieve a strategic plan.
•    Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering departments and assist in coordinating the necessary activities.
•    Train and be helpful if you need coaching.
•    Actively participate in Technology Forums to share best practices within JLR races.
•    Preparation (IBP plan) of a medium-term plan for body and paint shop operations.
•    DRIM coordinator for BIW & PTS production
•    Actively cooperate with the IPS team in the preparation and implementation of new tools. Align KPI tracking metrics within body shop and paint shop animation progression. (A3, Scorecard)
•    For key KPIs, monitor the benchmark within the automotive and bring new trends                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:
•    BIW or Paint work experience (mandatory) – knowledge of production process •    Good level of english (need to interact with UK peers in technology forum)
•    Good team player but also able to work using own initiative 
•    Good understanding of project management principles
•    Proven ability to manage, analyse and interpret data for reporting purposes 
•    Experience of collaboration cross functional team working 
•    Proficient communication and organisational skills
•    Strong Stakeholder Management skills with experience of collaboration and cross functional team working and an ability to build a solid network & good rapport at all levels
•    The ability to work in a fast-moving environment and to tight deadlines
•    Excellent high level analytical skills with the ability to focus on the key issues (problem solving process)
•    Highly motivated and resourceful with an ability to present clearly and concisely at all levels


Desirable: •    Experience of working in a manufacturing or automotive environment 
•    Experience of metric and reporting delivery to support project delivery
•    Good MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
