Reverse Logistics Analyst

OPPORTUNITY
Maintain existing processes related to managing of return empty packaging back to supplier, provides daily communication with JLR L462 & L663 Tier1 and Tier2 JIT & JIS parts suppliers and taking care about their requests. Securing of urgent transports in case of needed and where needed.


WHAT TO EXPECT
•    Managing weekly return plans based on production volume : planning. Collect datas and maintain master database to secure high accuracy of business datas. Packaging catalogue creation and maintain (datas gathering)
•     Identify and evaluate potential risks in advance in order to avoid possible negative consequences to fluent production, take effective actions from short and long term point of view
•    Monitor and report on reverse logistics performance, including weekly utilization KPI, costs. Coordinating activities to secure maximal truck fill utilisation
•     Provide support and guidance on packaging issues to all relevant teams (launch, local/global packaging teams, RFU). Support of yearly container audit and packaging counting
•    Develop, deliver and maintain training programs on reverse logistics matters
•    Promote sustainable practices and initiatives within the automotive manufacturing processes
•     Strong and effective cooperation with external logistics service provider and transport planners, taking into account : give – take 
•    Maintain and communicate with rental packaging providers about issues, related to possible production changes and manage all of consequences in time with those providers (new projects launching, daily empty packaging collection coordination, weekly collection plan preparation, costs analysis vs improvements suggestions, coordinates daily stock counts, identify and reports deviations)

 

WHAT YOU´LL NEED 
•    Min. High School, technical or economical field (University education welcome)
•    Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the automotive industry
•    Familiarity with logistics 
•    English language level B1 / B2 
•    Office skills (Excel, Word - Office 365, Teams, Power Point, SharePoint, Outlook)
•    SAP skills is advantage
•    driving license B
•    experience in reverse logistics advantage
