WHAT TO EXPECT

 

In this role you will develop safety architectures in compliance with ISO 26262 and design and implement software safety mechanisms up to ASIL D applications.

 

  • You will take over safety software analysis, including FMEA, FTA, and hazard assessments and translate functional safety requirements into software design specifications
  • You are going to design & implement low-level embedded software solutions for microcontroller safety features and perform requirements engineering and ensure alignment with ASPICE
  • Participating in topics like safety audits, assessments, and driving process improvements is also one of your responsibilities
  • You are working on the optimization of the software performance while maintaining safety integrity and collaborating with hardware teams to ensure proper software-hardware integration

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Along with your experience with AUTOSAR architecture and low-level software development you have a proven track record in technical safety concept development for software architecture. Additionally:

 

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Dipl.-Ing., M.Sc., or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience in safety-critical automotive embedded software development
  • We expect you to have strong knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and functional safety software development as well as an expertise in C, C++ for embedded systems and scripting languages
  • You’re familiar with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller architectures and have a profound knowledge of safety software validation techniques and testing frameworks
  • As we’re working on a global level we expect you speaking fluently in English
