POSITION: Business Performance Analyst Intern

Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry! This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.

 

During your internship time, you will gain an opportunity to challenge your analytical and accounting skills, while developing business acumen, leadership, and management skills. Jaguar Land Rover Canada (JLRC), a Sales and Marketing organization, operates in a dynamic, luxury automotive industry working closely with Jaguar Land Rover North America, as well as Jaguar Land Rover in the United Kingdom.

 

 Details of the program:

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate Program
  • The Internship runs from June 16, 2025 to May 22, 2026
  • Up to 40 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available
  • Paid internship - $20/hour  

 

Departmental overview:

The Retailer Development and Customer Experience department is responsible for the long-term strategic planning of Jaguar Land Rover Canada stores and primarily ensures that each Retailer adheres to its standards, performance and contractual obligations in order to conduct business. This includes retail location, design, processes, and working with multiple-departments, regional teams and retail partners in delivering consistent Modern Luxury customer experience. The department manages a multi-million-dollar performance management scheme referred to as the as Business Builder Program.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Work with highly desirable, luxury automotive brands and partner with Canadian retail network
  • Administering the $100M+ Business Builder Program, including reporting, monthly reconciliations and quarterly payments for both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands
  • Administering monthly and quarterly retailer performance measurement reports and scorecards.
  • Administering and reporting monthly retailer financial statements and performance.
  • Monitoring the department's annual budget, costs tracking and monthly accounting, purchase order creation and processing invoices
  • Managing Retailer Cabinet (and other) meetings and directly work with the leadership team
  • Assisting in creating presentations for the department and jointly across the company as necessary
  • Liaising between different departments within the office and preparing communications as needed
  • Enhancing your business acumen and gaining confidence in your financial skills and abilities

 

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in a collegiate academic program for 2025/26 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 365 Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Forms)
  • Strong financial acumen
  • High level of professionalism and tact; able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Confidence to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, automation tools, and SAP is an asset
  • Leadership skills, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred - 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
