Position:  Finance Intern

Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry!  This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective.


This position provides an opportunity to challenge your analytical and accounting skills, and to develop business acumen, leadership, and management skills. 



WHAT TO EXPECT:

Under general direction, provide financial support with management of Fixed Marketing Expenses, Selling/Administrative Expenses, Cash management, purchasing, consolidations and reporting.

  • The role with work closely with the Sales and Marketing departments in monitoring fixed marketing and administrative expenses, generating reports and providing analytical support.
  • Assist both Finance and Operational Departments in completion of Forecasts and Budget submissions
  • Monitor costs and assist with monthly accounting
  • Provide support in the purchasing process
  • Provide support with monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation and reporting of financial results

 

In addition to the above responsibilities, this position provides individuals the opportunity to build on their time management, problem-solving, presentation and team building skill sets. Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

 

  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Strong financial/numerical acumen
  • Strong interest in development of financial analysis skills, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, business planning
  • High level of professionalism and tact; able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Able to prioritize and consistently deliver on time with high degree of accuracy
  • Confidence to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization

 

What you will need: 

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate Program
  • The Internship runs from June 16, 2025 to May 22, 2026 .
  • 40 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
  • Hybrid Schedule available
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada at the time of application
