POSITION:  Vehicle Fleet Specialist

LOCATION:  Mahwah, NJ

RECRUITMENT RANGE: $60,000 - $77,000 *

Reporting to the Fleet Planner, you will be will be responsible for supporting vehicle planning and management across the various JLR fleets to ensure proper tracking and use of JLR vehicles. the successful candidate will offer support with analytics for business performance, global business initiatives, and internal and external presentation materials.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organization. Here’s what to expect:

  • Track fleet utilization across the different JLRNA departments and fleet types.
  • Update fleet activities within the Salesforce system to ensure all fleets have accurate information.
  • Coordinate with employees on job-related vehicles, supporting vehicle exchanges and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Center on company vehicle repairs.
  • Track parts orders for company vehicles and ensure repairs are being done in a timely manner.
  • Manage the license plate tracking process.  
  • Performing other duties as required

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience related to the role
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with applied initiative.
  • Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally with people at varying levels and departments within the organization.
  • Must have the ability to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time.

 

Schedule:  Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

* Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
