POSITION: People Partner - Commercial, North America

You will be leading the People Agenda for the Commercial chapter within North America. You will be working closely with the leadership team to drive our company culture by improving work relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention. You will also partner with global and local colleagues driving a great place to work and creating a vibrant and effective workplace

 

What you will be doing:

  • Diagnosing People Trends - Leveraging data and insights to inform design and decisions on strategy, structure and programs and promote org health and productivity
  • Organization Development - Advising and coach leaders and managers on org design and strategy, change management interventions and other key organizational initiatives focused on optimizing for efficiency, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and decentralized decision-making
  • Partnering – Partnering with the Commercial function. Act as a strategic consultant to leaders, partnering to guide and enable them in aligning their business and people strategies to optimize our employee experience.
  • Project Management - Collaborating, developing and driving programs cross functionally to advance the People Strategy for JLR
  • Talent – Leading the talent agenda and support leaders as they execute on global talent and organizational planning, identifying and investing in critical talent and intentionally planning for future business needs and ambitious goals
  • Culture - Promoting a culture guided by our Purpose and Creators Code, that continuously develops our employee experience at JLR and better ways of working together.
  • Skills – Leading the skills agenda within the functional area. Improving our ability to understand and respond to the demand and supply of capacity and capability to ensure business needs for diverse skills area realized.
  • Leadership - Supporting the Leadership team and organization through continued growth and evolution
  • Performing other duties as required

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience partnering and influencing senior leaders to help drive and align their people strategy and increase business results
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to partner and influence across groups and experience levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, and must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management
  • Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work with people at varying levels with the organization and network;

 

 

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

Travel: Occasional

 

Recruitment Salary Range: $107,500 - $150,000

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
