POSITION:  Facilities & Property Coordinator

RECRUITMENT SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $77,000*

LOCATION: Mahwah, NJ

Reporting to the Facilties Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance for JLR North America. You will be responsible for tracking maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, assisting in budgeting, and ensuring all facility-related processes run smoothly.

 

 

 WHAT TO EXPECT:

 

In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation. Here’s what to expect:

 

  • Support the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operations of all Jaguar Land Rover facilities, including commercial offices, testing sites, and training academies.
  • Serve as a secondary liaison with our facilities partner to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and other facilities services.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all sites.
  • Assist in the development and tracking of budgets for facilities management, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all operations.
  • Schedule and track regular maintenance, inspections, and service reports for all facilities.
  • Coordinate property-related activities such as space planning, office moves, and layout modifications.
  • Ensure all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning optimally, scheduling necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs at all facilities.
  • Assist in managing lease agreements, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Assist in managing the response to emergencies and incidents, ensuring proper communication and JLR protocols are followed
  • Perform other duties as required

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience;
  • 1-3 years  experience related to the role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail. 
  • Experience coordinating with third-party facilities service providers or contractors. 
  • Knowledge of building systems and  property management practices.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

 

Schedule:  Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

* Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave).
